Grapevine Middle School students are having fun with a water balloon toss which tied to their lesson on Gentleness!  They also have a monthly drawing at their club.  Students get a ticket for coming and another if they wore their club t-shirt or invited a friend!  Prizes range from super size candy, gift cards & S3 t-shirts!

Hello Parents!

I hope your year is off to a great start! If you're like me, you are trying to comfortably get back into your routine for the second half of the school year!

Middle school years can be tough on our kids. So, let Students Standing Strong (S3) partner with you, in helping your children navigate these difficult waters with a little help from their friends. A good way to help your children receive great encouragement in their faith, is to have them attend Students Standing Strong each Friday morn at 7:25a, in Mrs. Popp's Rm, A3. Please encourage them to attend the club meetings!

I've included last week's lesson on Patience. If you haven't gotten a chance to read a a lesson, please stop a moment and take a look at this one, to see how well they are written to reach our kids. They are short, but to the point. Our meeting time is actually less than an hour; only 40 min to be exact, but well worth the time to start off their day! The discussion of the lessons are student-led.

TOMORROW MORNING the kids will be discussing Kindness. The student leaders have launched a contest to win a BOSE Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker with their choice of 4 colors to the student who comes and invites the most friends for the next several weeks. The winner will be announced at the club meeting on Feb 23.

We hope to see your child/children tomorrow morning!  Invite friends!

We are looking forward to our 2018 Gala!  We are overdue for a showcase of what is happening in Students Standing Strong clubs here and across the nation.  Local clubs please help us fill the room with parents, grandparents, school administrators, family and friends who would be interested in knowing more about S3 and how they can support it.

​We will be asking ALL of you to help supply us with stories from your students and you!  We are going "Selfie Style" with our video this year which means you and students can share your story via video you capture on your cell phone!  More details will follow- thank you for helping us capture the heart of this ministry on an individual level!
